This lovely 1914 edition of "Flying: Some Practical Experiences" by Gustav Hamel and Charles C. Turner is bound in green cloth and features a lovely gold gilt illustration of a plane on the cover. Inside this hardback book, one finds i-xii and 341pp., detailing the practical contemporary experience of flying, supplemented by black and white photographs such as the one on the frontispiece depicting Mr Gustav Hamel "looping the loop" before the King and Queen at Windsor. This lovely book is in good condition, other than some offsetting to the front free endpapers, and some very minor foxing throughout, there are few other notable imperfections. "Flying: Some Practical Experiences" is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any early 20th c. aviation enthusiasts.
