St Mary's Books is proud to present this stunningly well-preserved 1848 first edition of "Navigation Aerienne. Notions elementaires sur l'aeronautique et sur les sciences accessoires a cet art, precedes d'une lettre aux chambres legislatives belges, suivies d'un apercu du systeme du docteur Van Hecke" by Perreymond, editor of the general review of architecture and public works. This little french language pamphlet, in its original green paper binding, contains 47 pages of text, complete with a fold-out map of the northern hemisphere to the back of the book, for the purposes of aerial navigation. This book is in very good condition considering it is almost 200 years old, though the covers are slightly bumped and torn, and though there are some small inscriptions throughout - these appear to be remarks from an editor, thus only adding to the rarity and intrigue of this item. This amazing copy of "Notions Elementaires sur l'Aeronautique" by Perreymond is looking for a new home, and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
