This lovely 1960 first edition of "Runways to Adventure" by Irene Milburn is housed in its original grey and yellow dustjacket featuring a charming illustration of Milburn in her air hostess uniform. Bound in blue cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine, this hardback book has 191 pages of text complete with black and white photographs, which tells the story of Milburn's life and travels as an Air Hostess for the British Overseas Airways Corporation.This book is in good condition, though the dustjacket has a repaired closed tear and thus can only be described as fair, the interior remains clean and readable. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a lovely gift.
