St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1938 first edition of "Women with Wings" signed by the author, Pauline Gower, in 1943. Housed in its original cream and navy dustjacket containing Gower's signature, this charming hardback book is bound in dark blue cloth with white ink lettering to its spine. Inside, one finds i-xix, 223pp. and 8 pages of advertisements to the back of the book. This wonderful book, which highlights the adventures of Pauline Gower and Dorothy Spicer as they operated their air-taxi business, is supplemented with stunning black and white photographs. This book is in good condition, though the dustjacket is significantly damaged and thus can only be described as fair, the book itself, other than some fading to the spine and some foxing throughout, remains largely clean and readable. This signed first edition of "Women with Wings" is looking for a new home, and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiasts.
