St Mary's Books is proud to present this lovely 1935 edition of "I might have been a success" by Edgar Middleton. Housed in its original orange dustjacket featuring black and red ink lettering, this hardback book is bound in burnt orange cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine. Inside, one finds i-ix and 287 pages of text, supplemented with stunning black and white photographs, such as the one on the frontispiece depicting the author among the ruins at Ypres Square. This tale of a life of adventure is in good condition, the dustjacket is remarkably well-preserved and thus can be described as very good, however there is significant foxing throughout this copy - all of which is more than fair considering the age and rarity of this edition. "I might have been a success" is looking for a new home, and would make for the perfect gift for any lovers of thrilling and varied autobiographies.
