This stunning book is complete with black and white photographs, including numerous images of Batten's plane. This amazing book details Batten's successive attempts and experience flying from England to Australia in record-breaking time. This copy is in very good condition - though there is some damage to the dustjacket which can only be described as good, the book, other than some fading to the spine, is remarkably well-preserved given its age and rarity.
