This lovely edition of "Flying for News" by Larry Rue is housed in its original pictoral dustjacket, featuring a charming illustration of an orange aeroplane flying over a mountain range. Bound in blue cloth with gold gilt lettering to the cover and spine, this hardback book contains i-xi, 288pp. and 32 pages of advertisements to the back of the book. This wonderful tale of the first news correspondent to cover assignments in his own aeroplane, and his adventures in Afghanistan and the Balkans, is supplemented by stunning contemporary black and white photographs. This book is in good condition - the dustjacket is a little bumped and warped, and the boards and spine are faded. However, the copy remains remarkably clean and readable, with few other noticeable blemishes. "Flying for News" is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation or journalism enthusiast.
