Bound in burgundy cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine, this hardback book has 213 pages of text and 3 pages of advertisements to the back of the book. Peppered with stunning contemporary black and white photographs of Africa, this book tells the stunning story of a talented navigator on her travels in a small private aeroplane with her husband, and occasionally, her children. This copy is in very good condition - though the dustjacket is torn and bumped and thus can only be described as fair to good, the book itself hasfew notable blemishes or imperfections, remarkably so considering its age and rarity.
