This lovely 1912 edition of "Aeroplane Designing for Amateurs: A Plain Treatment of the Basic Principles of Flight Engineering - Including Heretofore Unpublished Facts Concerning Bird Flight and Aerodynamic Phenomena" by Victor Lougheed, is now in the possession of St Mary's Books. Bound in bright red cloth with gold gilt lettering and decorations to the cover and spine, this hardback book contains 176 pages of text, peppered with 82 black ink illustrations and diagrams. This book is in good condition - though the corners are slightly bumped and there is a small stain on the cover, the interior remains remarkably clean and readable. "Aeroplane Designing for Amateurs" is looking for a new home, and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiasts.
