Inside, one finds a stunning illustration of Icarus falling from the heavens, as well as 123 other black ink diagrams and detailed illustrations of contemporary aviation vehicles, such as balloons and aeroplanes. This copy is in very good condition, other than some minor offsetting on the front free endpaper, there are few other notable imperfections, and the text remains vritually as clean and readable as the day it was printed. "Flying Machines Today" is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any early 20th century aviation enthusiast.
