Venn with illustrations by 1st A.M. B. S. Smith. This paperback book features a charming black ink cartoonish illustration of an airman smoking on the cover, and the book itself is peppered with similar such illustrations of the various RAF archetypes. Inside, one finds 48 pages of humorous text highlighting the various aspects of the RAF as well as their personalities, peppered with contemporary adverts that might appeal to the reader - such as for toothpaste, car insurance, and RAF Uniforms. This copy is in very good condition, other than an inscription and some slight bumping on the cover, the text remains remarkably clean and readable for a copy of this age and rarity. "Antics of Airmen" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiasts.
