Bound in blue cloth with gold gilt lettering and a black and white photograph of an aeroplane on the cover, this hardback book contains i-x and 307 pages of text peppered with contemporary black and white photographs and black ink illustrations. This text, in which Curtiss and Post describe their personal experiences with flying, also contains their predictions for the future of aviation, and some general commentary on the state of American aviation. This book is in very good condition, with few notable imperfections other than some fading to the spine, an ex-libris bookplate on the front free endpaper, and some very minor foxing throughout. "The Curtiss Aviation Book" is looking for a new home and would make for a perfect gift for any early American aviation enthusiast.
