This lovely hardback 1925 first edition of "A Flying Visit to the Middle East" by the Right Honourable Sir Samuel Hoare, Secretary of State for Air, has brightly coloured boards which have an almost tweed-like design in orange, red, green, blue, and pink ink. Inside, past the map of Sir Hoare's route on the free endpapers, one finds 88 pages of text, supplemented with stunning black and white photographs, and detailing Sir Hoare's experiences and ideas about his travels. This copy is in very good condition, with few notable blemishes or imperfections and pages that appear clean and bright, this book has been remarkably well-preserved to say it is over 100 years old. "A Flying Visit to the Middle East" by Sir Samuel Hoare is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any travel enthusiast or historian of the British relationship with the Middle East in the early 20th century.
