This is a great copy of "No Echo in the Sky," signed by the author. Harold Penrose has not only achieved the freedom of the sky, but has also been blessed with the gift of communicating the intensity of his experience in simple, poetic prose. In this book, he beautifully documents his forty years of experience with flight. This is a deep blue hardback with bright gilt lettering on the spine. At the beginning of each chapter, it is illustrated with wonderful drawings. Overall, this copy is in very good condition. The pages are bright and clean throughout, and the binding remains strong. There is some slight discolouration to the top of the spine. The dust jacket is in good condition. There is a very small closed tear to the top of the spine, and some foxing to the back cover of the dust jacket. Otherwise it is undamaged and clean. "No Echo in the Sky" is just one of the books in the large aviation collection at St Mary's Books. pp. 134.
