Papa India: the Trident Tragedy

John Goodson

Edition: First Edition

Published By: Compton Press

This book is an attempt to tell the story and explain the background to a single air crash near Staines which killed 118 people. The point of describing this unhappy event was to alert the reader to some of the dangers present at the time of writing of civil aviation, and to give a hearing to the voice that was not heard at the tribunal that investigated it. This lovely edition is bound in grey with bright red lettering on the spine. It is illustrated with plates of black and white photographs towards the middle of the book. Overall, this copy is in very good condition, and so is the dust jacket. The pages are bright and crisp all throughout. The dust jacket has almost no wear, with only a small pen mark to the front cover. 164. "Papa India" forms part of our large collection of Aviation titles at St Mary's Books.
