Naval Eight (Signed)

Published By: The Signal Press Ltd.

St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1931 edition of "Naval Eight: A history of No.8 Squadron R.N.A.S. - afterwards No.208 Squadron R.A.F. - from its formation in 1916 until the Armistice in 1918", signed by Geoffrey Bromet, a highly decorated aviator who flew the first air reconaissance of the Dardanelles campaign in 1915 and commanded several squadrons in the Great War. Bound in navy cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine and a gold gilt eagle in flight on the cover, this hardback book contains 207 pages of text, supplemented with black and white photographs. This fascinating history, recounted by several authors and members of the squadron, is in very good condition. There is some slight fading to the cloth on the cover and spine and some very minor foxing throughout the work - however, this text remains otherwise clean and readable. "Naval Eight" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any military aviation enthusiast.
