Fighting the Flying Circus (Signed)

Captain Edward V. Rickenbacker

Published By: Frederick A. Stokes Company

St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1919 copy of "Fighting the Flying Circus" signed by the author, Captain Edward V. Rickenbacker as well as by fellow military and aviation author Douglass Whetton. Bound in dark blue cloth with beautifully illustrated pictorial boards depicting aeroplanes in combat against a blue sky and clouds, this hardback book contains i-viii and 371 pages of text. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to American WW1 Ace "Eddie" Rickenbacker's account of his rise from driver to top American flyer and Commander of the 94th Squadron. This copy is in good condition - the front board is beginning to attach from the book, and there are signs of splitting at the hinges. However, other than some minor bumps and wear on the pictorial boards, the interior of this copy remains clean, bright, and readable. "Fighting the Flying Circus" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any military aviation enthusiast.
