An outstanding pilot and navigator he was appointed commander in charge of Bomber Command. This lovely edition is bound in deep blue cloth with bright gilt lettering on the spine. It is illustrated throughout with black and white photographs which compliment the already enthralling and detailed text. Overall, this copy is in very good condition with clean and bright pages. The dust jacket, which is in a clear protective film, is also in really good condition, with no tearing and only very slight wear to the edges. pp. 284.
