Published By: Packard Motor Car Company Aircraft Engine Division
St Mary’s Books is proud to present this lovely 1943 preliminary Service Memorandum for the V-1650-3 Engine, built by Packard and designed by Rolls-Royce. This blue paperback book is handsomely bound with the Rolls-Royce logo on the cover in black ink. Inside, one finds 47 detailed pages, complete from internal departmental memos – including photographs, diagrams, tables of data and more. This incredibly rare copy is marked as restricted and was restricted under the Espionage Act as information affecting the National Defence of the United States. This slice of history is in very good condition – the pages appear clean, bright, and readable, and there are remarkably few rubs or bumps on the paperback boards. A rare item and a must-have for any aviation collector.
