St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1969 second impression of "British Aeroplanes 1914-1918" signed by the author, J. M. Bruce. Housed in its original blue paper dustjacket, as well as its later blue dustjacket featuring a black and white photograph of an early aeroplane, this hardback book is bound in green cloth with gold gilt lettering and decorations on the spine. Inside, one finds assorted ephemera associated with the publication of the book, and some clippings of some further writings by the author. Inside, one finds i-viii and 742 pages of text, peppered with black and white photographs, tables of data, and intricate details about British Aeroplanes in this exciting and innovative wartime period. This book, and its two original dustjackets, are in very good condition. The earlier paper dustjacket has some minor bumps on the edges, but the later dustjacket appears largely unscathed. In addition, the cloth boards and the interior of the book are clean and bright. "British Aeroplanes 1914-1918" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
