St Mary's Books are proud to present this 1946 first edition of "I Hold My Aim" signed twice by the author C. H. Keith alongside a detailed inscription describing his experiences writing the book during his time at the BBC as a Home Service Announcer. Housed in its striking original black and white dustjacket with bright red lettering, this hardback book is bound in beige cloth with black ink lettering on the spine. Inside, one finds 174 pages of text, supplemented by black and white photographs and black ink diagrams, where the reader is treated to a thrilling account of the adventures and trials of those who selected and developed the weapons used by aircrews in the Second World War, in which the author traces the development of air armament and invites a look into the future. This copy is complete with a remarkable inscription, providing even more of the authors insight on the matter at hand, and highlighting his experiences writing this book. This copy, and it's original dustjacket, are in good condition - the dustjacket is bumped and torn with a piece missing from the front section, in addition, the boards of the book are foxed and the cloth is faded. However, the interior pages of the book appear remarkably clean, bright, and readable. "I Hold My Aim" is looking for a new home and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
