St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1918 Third Edition of "Erecting and Aligning Avro Biplanes Type 504" produced by A. V. Roe & Co., Ltd.. Bound in green cloth with black ink lettering on the cover, this hardback book contains i-xi and 44 pages of text. Inside, the reader is treated to a series of photographs, illustrations, diagrams, tables of data and written information providing the reader with the methods used in A. V. Roe & Co. workshops for erecting and aligning Avro Biplanes. This copy is in very good condition - though there is an inscription on the front free endpaper, it appears to be from a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society. This comes alongside the pencil inscriptions written in the "Notes" section - adding to the value of the book by highlighting how it was used. On the other hand, the cloth on the cover is faded and slightly creased, in addition there is an inscription on the cover. Yet, the interior of the book remains clean and readable, other than some offsetting on page 44. "Erecting and Aligning Avro Biplanes" is looking for a new home and would be a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
