St Mary's Books is proud to present this incredible item, Pilots' Notes from the Miles Master I issued by Phillips & Powis Aircraft Limited. Housed inside a brown paper slipcase with red lettering, this beige hardback book is quarter bound in red leather with red ink lettering on the cover. Inside, one finds 41 pages of text, supplemented by black and white photographs, and decorated with a mixture of red and black ink lettering. This instructional manual, produced by the aircraft manufacturer, would have come alongside the aircraft and assisted the pilot with various procedures. At the back of the book, one finds a card highlighting the MASTER and CLEAR procedures for take-off and landing. This book is in very good condition - with only some minor staining on the cover to report, the interior is clean, bright, and readable. The paper slipcase, on the other hand, is creased and there is significant damage along one side. "Miles Master I Pilots' Notes" is looking for a new home and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
