St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1932 first edition of "Historie de l'Aeronautique" by Charles Dollfus and Henri Bouche. Bound in navy buckram with a tactile black and white ink aviation logo in the centre, this quarto size hardback book contains i-xxiv and 572 pages of text. Within the pages of this book, past the marbled free endpapers, the reader is treated to a detailed French language account of the history of aviation, supplemented by black and white photographs, full-colour illustrations, diagrams, and detailed analysis. This copy is in good condition - the gold gilt has worn off the title, there is some bumping to the corners, and the spine is weak - however, the interior remains remarkably clean and readable. "Historie de l'Aeronautique" is looking for a new home and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
