St Mary's Books presents this 1941-1942 German language edition of "Schweizer Luftfahrt" by Dr Erich Tilgenkamp. Housed in its original white dustjacket featuring a vibrant full-colour illustration of aeroplanes dive-bombing, this hardback book is bound in burnt orange cloth with stunning gold gilt illustrations and lettering. Inside, one finds 424 pages of text, supplemented by stunning full-colour illustrations, black and white photographs, diagrams and more, providing the reader with a comprehensive history of Swiss Aviation. This copy is in very good condition. Though the original dustjacket can only be described as good due to the signficant losses and tears it has suffered, the book itself has been well preserved, and other than a small inscription on the front free endpaper, the interior remains remarkably bright, clean, and readable. "Schweizer Luftfahrt" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
