Bristol Engineering Department Quarterly Statement, Number One October 1941

Published By: The Bristol Aeroplane Company Ltd.

St Mary's Books is proud to present this October 1941 "Bristol Engineering Department Quarterly Statement", a copy that once belonged to A. H. R. Fedden, or Sir Roy Fedden, the engineer who designed most of the Bristol Engine Company's successful piston aircraft engine designs. Bound in green paper with navy and white ink lettering on the cover, this paperback edition contains 115 pages of text, organised into 20 clear sections and complete with diagrams and extensive detail concerning the activities of the Bristol Engineering department at this pivotal moment of the war. This copy is in good condition - though there is significant damage to the top corner of the cover, the spine and the edges, the interior text remains bright, clean, and readable - remarkably so given the age and rarity of this copy that was once in Roy Fedden's possession. "Bristol Engineering Department Quarterly Statement" is a fascinating slice of history which would be the perfect addition to any collection.
