St Mary's Books is proud to present this January 1946 edition of "Bristol Hercules 130 & 131 Engine Operating Instructions" published by the Technical Publications Department of the Engine Division of the Bristol Aeroplane Company. Bound in brown paper with striking black ink lettering and an illustration of an aeroplane on the cover, this paperback book contains 74 pages of text, peppered with black ink and full-colour illustrations, graphs, tables of data and more, highlighting the various internal mechanisms of the engines. The Bristol Hercules 130 & 131 were late-war iterations of earlier models, and went on to power notable post-war military transport and freighter aircraft - this book provides detail on the workings and mechanisms of these important engines. This book is in very good condition - with some minor staining on the cover and an inscription on the cover and front free endpaper. Otherwise, this item has been remarkably well preserved and would be the perfect addition to any collection.
