This wonderful book tell the intensely human stories and reveals the personalities of those who flew warplanes, as seen through the eye of the Intelligence Officer to whom they reported their combats. This lovely copy, bound in light blue cloth with silver gilt lettering to the spine, is signed by the author. It is illustrated with plates of beautiful black and white drawings. Overall, this book is in very good condition, with clean and crisp pages all throughout, no sign of foxing. The dust jacket is ain good condition with a closed tear to the front of the cover, and some general wear to the edges. pp. 176.
