This first edition is bound in light blue cloth with bold gilt lettering to the spine. Illustrated all throughout with black and white photographs of those who are written about within. Overall, this book is in very good condition, with clean and bright pages throughout. The binding is strong. The cover has some brown stains on the front, and some slight wear and fading to the extremities. The gilt lettering is bright. pp. 181 + 38 pages of advertisements for books under the same publisher.
