This is a thrilling account of Post and Gatty's eight day aeroplane trip around the world. It is bound in lovely deep blue cloth with bright yellow lettering on the spine. It is richly illustrated with seventeen pages of black and white photographs which document the different stages of their journey. Additionally, towards the end of the book are reproduced exact facsimiles of the pages of the Log Book kept by Harold Gatty during the flight. Overall, this book is in good condition with clean and undamaged pages all throughout. There is some slight spotting to the edgeblock. The blue cover remains bright in colour, unfaded. "Around the World in Eight Days" form a part of the extensive aviation collection that St Mary's Books has recently acquired. pp. 304.
