Mac's Memoirs (Signed by the Author)

G. H. Cunningham

Edition: Special Extra-Illustrated De Luxe Edition

Published By: A. H. & A. W. Reed

St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1937 copy number 6 of the special extra-illustrated deluxe edition of "Mac's Memoirs: The Flying Life of Squadron-Leader McGregor" signed by the author, G. H. Cunningham. Housed in its original blue dustjacket featuring a charming illustration of an aeroplane soaring through the sky, this hardback book is bound in green leather with gold gilt lettering to the spine. Inside, one finds 159 pages of text, supplemented by stunning contemporary black and white photographs. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to "a simple narrative of the life of a quiet, courageous, unassuming gentleman", a memoir of a great aviator from New Zealand, Squadron-Leader McGregor. This copy and its original dustjacket are in good condition - though the dustjacket has suffered some bumps, tears, and slight foxing, and though the leather on the spine has faded, the boards are slightly warped, and there is an inscription down one side, the interior of the book remains bright, clean and readable, other than a small bookseller pastedown on the free endpaper. "Mac's Memoirs" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
