This lovely early edition of "Wings Over Africa" by David Lindsay is housed in its original pictorial dustjacket featuring a charming illustration of a bright red aeroplane in flight against a blue sky. This hardback book has grey boards with black ink lettering on the spine. Inside, one finds i-xii and 256 pages of text detailing a story of adventure and injustice set against the backdrop of Colonial Expansion in Africa, of which the author freely admits "I have taken numerous liberties with the history and geography books in writing this tale". This copy, and its original dustjacket, are in very good condition, with few notable blemishes or imperfections other than some minor bumping on the dustjacket. "Wings Over Africa" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
