Night Bombing with the "Bedouins"

Lieut. Robert H. Reece

Published By: Houghton Mifflin Company

An interesting and informative account of the author's experience in the 'Bedouins,' who were a squadron of non-British flyers from around the world who flew Handley Page heavy bombers in attacks on the German Zeppelin yards. This early edition is bound in lovely deep blue cloth, with gilt lettering and details to the front cover. It is illustrated with plates of black and white photographs. This copy has an inscription to the front endpaper reading "to William J Dufon from a friend of his father Easter 1922[?]". Overall, it is in very good condition. The pages all throughout are bright and clean with no sign of foxing. The gilt on the cover remains bright, and, although there is some slight wear to the corners of the covers, it is sturdy and the binding remains strong. pp. 99. This title is only a small part of the extensive aviation collection recently acquired by St Mary's Books.
