This lovely book is bound in brown cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. In the preface, the author explains that this book's burpose is to give useful hints and data relating to patents, to inventors and manufacturers interested in heavier-than air flying machine. It is written following eleven years experience in patent agency work. It is richly illustrated throughout with black and white diagrams. Overall, the book is in good condition. The pages are bright and clean throughout with no sign of foxing. There is some discolouration to the cover, and some wear to the edges. pp. 91. "Aeroplane Patents" is just a small part of the wide-ranging aviation collection available at St Mary's Books.
