Bound in red cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine, this hardback book contains i-x and 374 pages of text, peppered with stunning black and white photographs, it relays "the spirit, the "atmosphere", of the first phase of practical flying in this country", containing segments from the author's own notebook from his flying days. This copy is in good to very good condition - though the cloth on the spine is sun damaged and there is a small ink stain on the cover, the interior remains clean, apart from the Royal Aero Club stamps on the front and back free endpapers. "The Old Flying Days" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
