St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1943 privately printed scarce copy of "Charles Woodbine Parish D.F.C. R.A.F.", a book produced by his friends and comrades in memory of his life and service, and signed by his father. Housed in a charming cream dustjacket with light blue lettering and decorative borders, this cream hardback book has bright gold gilt lettering on the cover. Inside, one finds 50 pages of text, peppered with black and white photographs, sensitively and intimately highlighting the details of Charles Parish's life and wartime service as a member of the RAF. Within the pages of this book, the reader gains an intimate understanding of the friendships forged in wartime, and the individual impact of each death in service. This copy is in very good condition - though there is some slight foxing and minor bumping to the dustjacket, particularly to the top corners, and though the front board is slightly warped, the interior remains bright, clean and readable. "Charles Woodbine Parish", a scarce text, signed by Parish's father, is looking for a new home, and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
