St Mary's Books is incredibly proud to present this extensive set of early "Flight" Magazines, stretching from the very first edition in 1909 up to 1953. Within this set, one finds a complete run of the weekly journal for the years 1909-1913, and the years 1916-1953. The earlier editions (1909-1913) are handsomely bound in forest green cloth with gold gilt lettering to their spines, they contain each "Flight" edition from that year, bound in with their original card covers. The majority of the later editions from 1916-1953 are not bound and are in their original paperback form, with some exceptions, as pictured. These fascinating editions providing a chronicle of early aviation history are complete with contemporary photographs, illustrations, diagrams, and of course articles detailing the latest developments in aviation. These copies are in very good condition, with few notable blemishes or imperfections, they remain, clean, readable and well-kept. This extensive set of early "Flight" magazines is looking for a new home and would make for a perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast looking to level up their collection.
