St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1919 edition of "The New Traffic (Aircraft)" by W. H. Berry. Bound in dark grey paper with black ink lettering, this hardback book contains 192 pages of text, supplemented by 4 pages of advertisements to the front of the book and 16 to the back of the book. Inside, past the stunning full-colour illustration on the frontispiece of an aeroplane flying over a city at dusk, one finds a fascinating speculative work stemming from the early aviation era, highlighting the infrasturctural and cultural changes that will need to occur when, in the author's mind, air travel becomes as common as travel by car or train. This copy is in fair to good condition - the board on the spine is missing, there is some weakness at the hinges and the free endpapers have yellowed. However, the interior pages nevertheless remain bright, clean and readable. "The New Traffic (Aircraft)" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
