Subtitled 'an army pilots light and shade impressions', this book is the author's first-hand account of his experience during the early days of military aviation. With the exception of "one or two" incidents, the stories retold are founded on the author's personal experience. This edition is bound in red cloth, with a black and white photograph illustrating the frontispiece. Overall, this copy is in good condition. There is some wear to the edges of the spine, and bumping to the corners. The pages are clean and undamaged all throughout, with some notes, generally referencing relevant newspaper or magazine articles, written in pencil and pen on the first blank page and in the margins of the text itself. pp. 120. "Zooms and Spins" forms a part of the extensive aviation selection which has recently become available at St Mary's Books, both in our shop and on our website.
