This comprehensive text covers information markings from propeller tip to rubber-trim, and found within are years of extensive research, authentic details, true colours and historical background data. There are also unit markings and their history as well as a complete history of the evolution of camouflage, kill markings, individual markings and many more. It is richly illustrated with a full colour frontispiece, pages of drawings of aircrafts in profile and a colour chart insert. Additionally, there are black and white illustrations throughout, such as photographs, drawings, diagrams and graphs, as well as patterned endpapers. Overall, the copy is in good condition. The pages are bright and clean throughout, and the cover has only very slight wear. It is housed in a clear protective jacket which is secured with patterned tape. pp. 202.
