St Mary's Books is incredibly proud to present this 1989 First Edition of "Men of the Battle of Britain" with a signed slip by the author, Kenneth G. Wynn, and signatures from eight of the pilots and aircrew mentioned in the book. This copy is accompanied by a 1992 first edition of its "Supplementary Volume". Both books are housed in their original light blue dustjackets with red ink lettering and black and white contemporary photographs of the pilots and aircrew. Handsomely bound in navy blue cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine, these hardback books contain i-x and 470pp. (Original Volume) and i-xviii and 228pp. (Supplementary Volume). The first volume contains the signatures of Jim Gordson and Ulrich Steinhilper on the title page, followed by the signatures of Alan Deere, Jeffrey Quill, Geoffrey Poye, Jackie Mann, Johnnie Johnson, and Denis Crowley-Millings - underneath their names within the book. Both of these volumes, and their original dustjackets, are in very good condition with few notable blemishes or imperfections, they appear virtually as-new. "Men of the Battle of Britain" is looking for a new home, and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
