St Mary's Books is proud to present a bound complete run of the "Royal Air Force Weekly Bulletin" for March to October 1941. Bound in red buckram with gold gilt lettering to the spine, this hardback book provides historical insight into information that was provided to RAF pilots during the war years. These weekly bulletins are complete with world news, or "The Situation", updating the reader on contemporary global developments, as well as articles written by pilots, the way Britain is percieved by the world, and the situation in Germany - all, of course, propagandized and written in such a way to lift the spirits of the pilots. For instance, many articles refer to internal division within Germany, dwindling supplies, or unhappy officers - whereas Britain is often written to be percieved by the world as noble, courageous, and unified. This fascinating book and incredible slice of history is in very good condition, with few notable blemishes or imperfections other than some minor bumping to the corners. "Royal Air Force Weekly Bulletin" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
