Evidence in Camera (Volumes 1-8, Near-Complete Set including Rare Restricted Final Edition)

Air Ministry

Edition: First Edition

Published By: Air Ministry

St Mary's Books is incredibly proud to present this near-complete set of "Evidence in Camera", including the rare restricted final edition. Volumes 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6, are complete with their original covers, and are bound in to light blue cloth hardback books with navy faux-leather title bands with gold gilt lettering. Volumes 3, 7, and 8 are incomplete and so remain loose in their original paperback format. Evidence in Camera is a rare photo reconnaissance journal produced during the Air Ministry during the Second World War for official use only. It is peppered with black and white aerial photography, and interspersed with black ink line drawings and cartoons. The final edition, "Special Edition on Photographic Reconnaissance and Photographic Intelligence", published in March 1945, is dedicated to the history and development of aerial reconnaissance, and announces the discontinuation of the publication of the magazine. The volumes in this set are in very good condition - with few notable blemishes or imperfections other than some minor bumping to the corners and edges of the paperback volumes, and some slight wear to the cloth on the spines of the hardback volumes. "Evidence in Camera" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
