Contained within this set are Tomes 1-4 and 9, comprising the years 1922-1924 and 1928. Handsomely bound in dark blue cloth with gold gilt lettering to the spine, these hardback books contain Vol. 1, 1922 - 280pp.; Vol. 2, 1922 - 256pp.; Vol. 3, 1923 - 256pp.; Vol. 4, 1924 - 236pp.; Vol. 9, 1928 - 276pp. and 6 pages of advertisements to the back of the book. Within the pages of these books, the reader is treated to the early 20th century French publication and it's articles on aircraft design, theoretical flight physics, and military aviation doctrine, peppered with black and white photographs, diagrams, graphs, equations and more. This set, which was once belonged to the Air Ministry Library, is in very good condition. Though there is some bumping to the top and bottom edges of the spine, some slight fading to the cloth, and Air Ministry Library stamps and paste-downs on the front free endpapers - the interior pages nevertheless remain bright, clean and readable. "Revue Generale de l'Aeronautique" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
