St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1922 first edition of the "Royal Scottish Society of Arts Keith Lectures, 1922: Aviation, a Course of Four Lectures", delivered by Lieutenant-Colonel W. O. Raikes. Inside, one finds a letter dated 1924 and written on Royal Air Force Club paper from W. S. Heath, sending a copy to "Grey" for him to enjoy. Bound in brown paper with black ink lettering and a decorative border on the cover, this paperback book contains i-viii and 102 pages of text, peppered with black and white photographs, illustrations and diagrams. This copy is in fair condition - the paper on the spine and front board have been bumped and suffered some losses, and the front board is completely loose. The cover is also yellowed and foxed, however the interior pages, though lightly yellowed, appear otherwise bright, clean and readable. "Aviation, a Course of Four Lectures" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
