This fascinating edition contains a report from the Air Ministry, providing a strategic account of the Battle of Britain from their perspective. This account is supplemented by the appendices, which highlight the strategic air bases and other centres across the UK which contributed to the Air Ministry's ability to effectively fight the battle. This copy is in very good condition - though there is some slight rust marks from the staples, and though the pages have slightly yellowed and there are some significant bumps and closed tears in the back cover - the copy nevertheless remains well preserved given its age and rarity. "Supplement to the London Gazette: The Battle of Britain" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
