Squadrons of the R.F.C. - Original Typescript

St Mary's Books is proud to present this fascinating item, an original typescript from the Great War era, chronicling the various squadrons and activities of the Royal Flying Corps. This unbound document, housed in an early paper folder, is 23 pages long and contains information about RFC Squadrons No. 1 to No. 274. The document provides a brief overview of the aeroplanes used by each Squadron, as well as a small summary of their activities, where they were stationed, who was in command, and what major battles or initiatives the Squadron was involved in. The level of detail and insider information displayed in this document suggests it may have been prepared by someone within the Royal Flying Corps, or at least an individual who took great care chronicling this information at the time it was released. Other than some offsetting from an old paperclip and some minor folding and bumping, these pages appear bright, clean and readable and are in good condition. "Squadrons of the R.F.C. - Original Typescript" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation collector.
