St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1919 first edition of "How to Fly and Instruct on an "Avro"" by F. Dudley Thomas. Bound in blue linen with navy ink lettering, this softcover book contains 75 pages of text, peppered with black and white photographs and diagrams. Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to an instructional manual on how to fly and construct an early "Avro", complete with photographs and detailed instructions. This copy is in very good condition - there is some minor bumping to the cloth boards, some wear to the edges, and a small stain on the cover, as well as some very minor foxing throughout and some signs that some of the interior photographs have been cut out. However, this copy remains otherwise well-preserved given its age and rarity. "How to Fly and Instruct on an 'Avro'" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
