St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1951 early edition of "Sad Cypress" by Agatha Christie. Housed in its original bright green dustjacket featuring a black ink outline of a cypress tree, this hardback book is bound in bright blue buckram with gold gilt lettering to the spine. Inside, one finds 252 pages of this unique Poirot mystery which begins with a dramatic trial, and loops back to investigate the dual poisoning, uncovering a complex web of lies. This copy is in very good condition, the original dustjacket has been well preserved other than some minor bumps to the edges - the interior pages, on the other hand, have significantly yellowed, and there is some splitting at the hinges. "Sad Cypress" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any lover of a great crime novel.
