St Mary's Books is proud to present this two-volume set of "Rigging Instructions and Notes on the General Maintenance of Gipsy Moth Two-Seater Light Aeroplanes" produced by the De Havilland Aircraft Co.. Bound in green cloth with black ink lettering, these hardback books contain detailed instructions, accompanied by fold-out diagrams and, in the first volume, french language instructions. In the first volume, one finds pp.1-17 on "Rigging Instructions and notes on the General Maintenance of Moth", followed by several fold-out diagrams, and then "Instruction Book No. 1407 Type AG4 Magnetos" pp.1-14, followed by more diagrams, and pp.15-34 in French. In the second volume one finds, pp.1-20 followed by a series of fold-out diagrams on "Rigging Instructions and Notes on the General Maintenance of Gipsy Moth". These copies are in good condition - the first volume has some staining on the cover, and an inscription on the front free endpaper and cover, but remains otherwise well-preserved. The second copy has some light staining and bumping on the exterior, and the interior pages are lightly foxed. "Rigging Instructions and Notes on the General Maintenance of Gipsy Moth" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
